Irlam Endowed Primary School

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum includes and represents everyone.  We aspire to create inquisitive, reflective and empathetic learners. We have high expectations of all our children so they can ‘fulfil their potential’.

As a school community, we celebrate diversity, inclusion and equity throughout all teaching and learning.  As such, we actively teach children (through our Personal Development offer) about the protected characteristics of race, gender, disability, sexuality, transgender, age, religion and beliefs.  This enhances children’s understanding of our diverse and unique world.

We believe that a diverse and culturally rich curriculum empowers children to become well-informed, compassionate and reflective citizens.

Assemblies

Our assemblies are a strong example of how this is woven into our everyday interactions within school.
