Miss Fraser will be the Nursery class teacher from September 2020, and she is very excited to be returning to the Early Years Department after several years in Key Stage 2.

Mrs Millington will remain the EYFS manager and oversee the teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception.

The teachers and support staff in both classes will work very closely as a team.

Hi my name is Mrs Black. I have lived in the area for the past 15 years and worked with children from 0-11 for 20 years, plus being a mum to two grown up children and a gran to a toddler. I have worked in a few different childcare settings in the area over the years in different roles. And the few years I have been at Irlam Endowed as a TA have been a pleasure. I have been able to continue to watch the children grow. I have loved being a part of that. I work in the Mojos before and After school club too.

Hello I am Mrs Bentham and I have worked at Irlam Endowed since 2002. I have lived in Irlam all my life. I have 3 children who all attend/have attended Irlam Endowed – they are age 12, 10 and 7.  I have worked across all year groups but my heart is in Early Years. I have experience with supporting speech and language. My favourite colour is yellow, my favourite food is cake! I love to be creative and I don’t like the cold weather! Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hello my little Nursery fairylets. My name is Mrs Degg and I am the most glittery, magical member of the Nursery fairies. Oh, what fun we shall have, our days will be packed with wonderfully shiny new adventures and fantastical experiences. All the nursery fairies are so excited to meet you all. Keep on sparkling and shining and I will see you all very soon.

Welcome to Irlam Endowed Primary School.

Hello, my name is Miss Da Costa and I am the Headteacher, and this special page has been set up to ensure you have all the information you need prior to us welcoming you and your child in September 2020.

We are all so excited to meet our new Early Years pupils, and cannot wait to help you all get ready for ‘big school’.

Unfortunately, these are strange times this year and our usual list of induction activities cannot take place as normal at the moment. We usually have lots of opportunities to meet each other, visit school and answer any questions you may have. However, this will need to be done a little differently this year. No worries though, we love being creative and a challenge, so we decided to  set up this webpage. Please keep checking here and also look out for texts, and we assure you that we will make everything as smooth as possible.

We will share information about meeting teachers, school day, uniforms etc, from the start of June 2020. This is so we are releasing the latest information. You will also be able to collect a pack from school, when advised to do so.

So everything you need to know will be shared on these pages, but if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to email me at irlamendowed.primaryschool@salford.gov.uk (This is the same address to send any evidence linked to your acceptance too please.)

Don’t forget to let us have your mobile number please, if you haven’t already, so we can keep you updated by text too.

To get you started, please feel free to look at the rest of our website. Look at the school prospectus, policies, the learning activities etc. If you do not know the school well, it will give you a great overview of Irlam Endowed.

We cannot wait to meet all our new families, as well as siblings of children we already have in school. Thank you so much for choosing Irlam Endowed, we know your child will be very happy here, and we cannot wait to welcome them to the Irlam Endowed family.

Keep safe and well,

Miss Da Costa and all the staff
